The ATR 1 thunder-stroke counter can be installed in all the lightning protection systems according to particular standards as a recorder intended for information of a keeper / an control subject and of other participants about number of earth-leakage currents due lightning strokes into the lightning conductor system. It serves along with consequently performed revisions of the lightning conductor for overview of an owner or keeper of a protected or a thunderstruck structure about the installed lightning conductor system.
The counter can be installed in both classic and active lightning conductor systems. This instrument shall be "inserted" into the down lead at for reading suitable point.
